Blood & Thunder Magazine is the first and largest roller derby magazine dedicated to th eall-girl modern revival of th esport. It launched in 2006 and is started by two women who met
playing roller derby together; lindy "robin graves" hartsfield and dale "black dahlia" rio. combining
their talents, they sought to create a publication that would parallel the sport of roller derby itself,
with its d.i.y. ethic and self-determination.
